Stanisław Bohusz-Siestrzeńcewicz (1869–1927) – a Polish painter, draughtsman, book and magazine illustrator. Graduate of the Imperial Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg and the private painting school Académie Julian in Paris. In Munich, he studied under Józef Brandt. Professionally involved with the Stefan Batory University, at which he lectured on painting. A specialist in genre and landscape painting (in particular of the Vilnius region). In his works he immortalised horse markets, fairs and small-town life in the borderland towns. He also enjoyed painting hunting scenes and images inspired by the culture of the Far East.
