Zofia Stryjeńska (1891–1976) is one of the most popular Polish artists of the interwar period. She was mainly occupied with easel painting, but also with graphic design, book illustrations, fabric, poster and toy design. Her works brought her a number of awards. She was the author of the panneaux series inspired by Polish traditions and presenting “The Cultural Year in Poland”, and the series “Young Polish Countryside”, which praised the charms of rural life and youth.

In fact, Zofia Stryjeńska became famous as a painter and illustrator, but she was also a skilled writer. This collection of rules of etiquette proves the versatility of the Princess of Polish Painting and her unusual sense of humour.

The colouring book contains works by Zofia Stryjeńska. The book is perfect for all fans of colouring books and Polish art, who not only admire the best pieces by the grandest painters, but also eagerly use painting tools themselves.

Another album in the Painting series presents the life and art of one of the most important and original Polish 20th-century female artists — Zofia Stryjeńska — “the princess of Polish painting”.
