The album presents the works by painter and draughtsman Konrad Krzyżanowski (1872–1922). He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg, where he got interested in portrait and landscape painting and started to develop his unmistakable dynamic style. Later, Krzyżanowski stayed in Munich only to move to Warsaw, where the most intense creative period started. It resulted in very expressive works with intriguing colours, such as Portrait of Maria Krzymuska, Clouds in Finland or Portrait of Pelagia Witosławska.
