Posters is already volume 25 in the popular Posters mini-album series, this time devoted to the art of Marcin Mroszczak, son of Józef Mroszczak, one of the founding fathers of the Polish school of poster art. Marcin Mroszczak studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, has worked at prestigious foreign design studios and started his own advertising agency Corporate Profiles.

Marcin Mroszczak. Posters is already volume 25 in the popular Posters mini-album series, this time devoted to the art of Marcin Mroszczak, son of Józef Mroszczak, one of the founding fathers of the Polish school of poster art. Marcin Mroszczak studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, has worked at prestigious foreign design studios and started his own advertising agency Corporate Profiles. He designs film and theatre posters, theatre stage sets, book covers – his most famous projects include, among others, Hamlet, the play by William Shakespeare, created in collaboration with Andrzej Krauze, Man of Marble and Man of Iron for Andrzej Wajda’s films, as well as the poster for the 20th anniversary of the 4 June elections, inspired by the sheriff from Tomasz Sarnecki’s poster High Noon. 4 June 1989. The introduction and selection of reproductions in the book were prepared by Dorota Folga-Januszewska.
