The book presents the works of one of Poland’s most accomplished poster artists, Waldemar Świerzy. Considered the most prominent portrait artist among graphic designers, he specialised in film posters, with his most famous works including “Sunset Boulevard”, “Midnight Cowboy”, and “The Silence”. Świerzy also created circus posters, which presented funny pictures of clowns and acrobats, as well as music posters featuring e.g. jazz legends: Miles Davis, Ray Charles or Charlie Parker.
