The mini-album contains almost 60 works by one of the most outstanding Polish illustrators – Zygmunt Januszewski. Drawings were by far not the only aspect of the artist’s creativity, which also included posters, book designs, artistic graphics, performances and happenings, as well as writing and poetry. He created posters along with his own book designs and newspaper covers, often coincidental with their launch. Such graphic combinations and experiments often won him awards. The artist presented his works at over a hundred solo exhibitions in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and France. Since 2000, a professor at Internationale Sommerakademie für Bildende Kunst in Salzburg, and since 2002, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he took over Janusz Stanny’s Department of Illustration. The book, with graphic design by Prof. Błażej Ostoja Lniski, contains an introduction by Prof. Dorota Folga-Januszewska.
