Another book in the series on the most outstanding poster artists, devoted to the works by Stasys Eidrigevičius, an artist of Lithuanian origin, who has lived and worked in Poland since 1980. Eidrigevičius’s art is clearly inspired by symbolic and surrealist painting, and his unique posters, featuring mostly children, pets, and masks, are characterised by a peculiar reverie. Eidrigevičius has won multiple awards, e.g. at the International Biennial Exhibition of Modern Ex-Libris in Malbork or the International Warsaw Poster Biennale, and his works belong to the collections of the greatest museums, such as Polish national museums, as well as the British Museum in London, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Apart from poster design, Eidrigevičius is also into book illustrations, painting, stage design, and photography. This album, prepared by an expert in this field, Zdzisław Schubert, contains nearly 60 most famous works of the artist.
