The album is dedicated to design, interiors, and fashion in the pre-war Poland, in the period from the famous International Exhibition in Paris in 1925 until 1939. It presents the most interesting furniture, decorative ceramics, tableware, cars, motorcycles, and even train engine designs.

Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz, aka Witkacy (1885–1939) – a painter, draughtsman, photographer, writer and philosopher. One of the most versatile and extraordinary artists in the history of Polish art. The book in the “Painting” mini-series presents the works of Kazimierz Sichulski (1879–1942) – a painter, draughtsman, caricaturist, graphic designer, one of the most outstanding Polish artists inspired by the Hutsul culture. Sichulski studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków under Leon Wyczółkowski, Józef Mehoffer, and Stanisław Wyspiański, and was also educated in Vienna and Paris.

This mini-album in the popular “Painting” series presents the artistic oeuvre of Roman Kochanowski (1857–1945) – a painter and draughtsman, one of the most acclaimed Polish landscape authors. Kochanowski studied at the Academies of Fine Arts in Kraków and Vienna, and was trained by Władysław Łuszczkiewicz and Henryk Grabiański.

This volume of the “Painting” series is devoted to the life and art of Małgorzata Łada-Maciągowa (1881–1969) – a painter and stained-glass designer, one of the most outstanding female artists of the Young Poland period. Łada learned to draw and paint at the Adrian Baraniecki Higher Courses for Women in Kraków and at the Académie Julian in Paris.
