“Owl Jerry. Playing Artists” by Dagmara Budzbon-Szymańska is a book for children aged 3–6, which is a gripping story on art that encourages the youngest readers to spend their time in a creative way.

“Spinning Love. Letters of Polish Writers” is a wonderful collection of correspondence of the most famous Polish writers from romanticism to the modern times. In volume one, the author, Barbara Riss, discusses and presents letters written by e.g. Adam Mickiewicz, Juliusz Słowacki, Maria Konopnicka, Henryk Sienkiewicz, and Stefan Żeromski.

Volume two of The Book of World Dragons by Bartłomiej Grzegorz Sala presents over 100 dragons and serpent-like beasts known from tales and legends of pre-Christian and Christian Europe. As a historian and ethnologist, the author describes the dragons in a detailed and vivid way, from Scandinavia and the British Isles to the Alps and the Balkan Peninsula. 

Mouth-watering illustrations accompany 181 „yummy words” in this lexicon of food-related vocabulary, meticulously researched and appetizingly arranged by popular Polish linguist, Professor Jerzy Bralczyk.

Another book in the “Posters” series presents the art of Hubert Hilscher (1924–1999), one of the most famous Polish graphic artists. Hilscher was a versatile author of not only posters and applied graphics, but also book illustrations and corporate identity.

“The Sinful Bohemia” is a particularly captivating book by Stefania Krzysztofowicz-Kozakowska. The author discusses the intriguing topics of scandals in the Polish artistic life in the interwar period. The fascinating story at first introduces us into the artistic world of the Young Poland. 

Ghosty. Stories for Children of All Ages by Jacek Cygan, with beautiful illustrations, is a friendly and thought-provoking story of Ghosty, who wanders around the various corners of the Useless Things Warehouse in order to find help for a damaged lamp.

After “Eat!!!” and “Let’s Go!!!”, the richly illustrated lexicon “Go Home!!!” by Professor Jerzy Bralczyk is another guide to words and their meanings.

A luxury album on the life and art of the Queen of Art Deco – Tamara de Lempicka. The artist owed her world-wide fame to her luminous portraits of well-known personalities. Since childhood, she was passionate about art, and she learned the tricks of the trade while visiting Europe’s key museums.
