In fact, Zofia Stryjeńska became famous as a painter and illustrator, but she was also a skilled writer. This collection of rules of etiquette proves the versatility of the Princess of Polish Painting and her unusual sense of humour. Although written in the first half of the twentieth century, the book, divided into four chapters, contains rules of good behaviour that are still up to date. Stryjeńska presented them in a matter-of-fact yet tongue-in-cheek style, adding a characteristic drawing to some of them. The book is a must-read for all fans of her art, as well as those who are into etiquette.
