Stanisław Wyspiański (1869–1907) – one of the most outstanding Polish artists, a painter, playwright, and poet, co-founder of the Society of Polish Artists “Sztuka”. He was active in a number of art fields, each characterised by his innovative solutions. Wyspiański made a name for himself as a painter, whose portraits revealed the psychological traits of the model, whereas his landscapes focused on natural phenomena.

“Abakanowicz. Sculpture” presents the art of one of the most outstanding Polish artists, Magdalena Abakanowicz (1930–2017), who made a name for herself primarily as the author of artistic fabrics, including monumental spatial compositions referred to as abakans from her last name.
