Stanisław Wyspiański ( 1869-1907) – Cracovian painter, architect, poet, playwright, interior decorator and furniture designer, co-founder of the Society of Polish Artists Sztuka (Art), author of several brilliant symbolist dramas including Wesele (The Wedding) and Wyzwolenie (Liberation), and one  of the greatest representatives of Polish modernism (Young Poland).
