The mini-album presents the art by Antoni Rząsa (1919–1980) – a sculptor born in Futoma in Subcarpathia, later tied to Zakopane. Although he personally did not identify himself with any religion, in his works, he focused on Christian themes. They mainly include Christological motifs touching upon human suffering, which is also connected to the artist’s youth experiences going back to World War 2. Special attention should be paid to such series as “Stations of the Cross” and “Oświęcim”.
