“Amazing Poles. Pioneers, Inventors, Explorers” is a popular-science book for youth and adults, presenting a reader-friendly and fascinating story of the achievements of Polish people. The author describes not only well-known figures of Marie Curie, Ignacy Łukasiewicz, Aleksander Doba, and Henryk Arctowski, but also a number of lesser-known, yet highly important people in the history of Poland and the world, whose work paved the way for modern science and technology.
