This album will interest nature lovers, rocks and minerals collectors, artists, and, indeed, anyone who appreciates beauty. It is the only album issued in Poland which, although dedicated to mineral substances, does not display the pictures of actual rocks and stones. Instead, it offers us a peek into the very nature of things – abstract patterns and pictures which can be found inside the rocks, formed in the course of geological processes millions of years ago. Agate and jasper feature as the most “artistic” among the rocks, however, the fractal “prints” of manganese and iron crystal dendrites are equally fascinating.
