The renowned fashion designer and stylist and the author of the best-selling Dress Code and Street Casual, employing his typical light and direct style of writing, takes the reader on a journey through the history of men’s fashion, showing how it changed over the centuries and how it affected men’s clothing as we know it today.
Krzysztof Łoszewski offers an unusual time travel from the loincloth, through spectacular changes of the 19th century to the beginning of the 21st century, including the impact of silent movies, jazz, and prohibition in the interwar years, the crazy pop culture revolution to the rhythm of rock’n’roll in the 1950s, the invasion of colour in the 1960s, the carousel of trends in the 1970s and the emergence of great fashion designers in the recent decades.
