The female nudes show warm sensuality. One of the artist’s best-known pieces is the “Luncheon of the Boating Party”, which combines the characteristic French style with Venetian painting. Shared plein-air outings with Claude Monet gave rise to the “La Grenouillère ” and brought more light into the painter’s works.
