The book Janusz Stanny. Illustrations dedicated to Janusz Stanny’s art, opens a new series of mini-albums, this time about the most prominent Polish illustrators. Undoubtedly, Stanny is among the most famous authors in this field of art – his artistic output includes illustrations for over 200 books, such as Mickiewicz’s Pan Tadeusz, Cervantes’ Don Quixote, La Fontaine’s Fables and Andersen’s Fairy Tales. His works, with an unmistakable drawing style, are a unique combination of painterliness and wit. This album, featuring nearly 60 selected illustrations by Stanny, is published in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
