The fourth mini-album in the “Medallists” series is devoted to the sport career of one of the most famous Polish female athletes – Stanisława Walasiewicz-Olson (1911–1980), an Olympic champion and multiple world record breaker. Among others, Walasiewicz won the gold and silver Olympic medals in the 100 metres (gold in Los Angeles in 1932, silver in Berlin in 1936). The book, with a foreword by Marzena Jaworska, contains almost 80 carefully selected photographs presenting the key moments in the athlete’s life. The mini-album was created in collaboration with the Museum of Sports and Tourism in Warsaw and the Polish Olympic Committee.
