Stanisław Wyspiański (1869–1907) was a versatile artist: a playwright, poet, painter, graphic designer, typographer, theatre reformer and interior designer. Wyspiański. Drawing is a mini-album presenting the artist’s drawings, a clear reflection of his keen eye. The illustrations selected for the book – historical caricatures, landscapes, plant studies, interior designs, stage designs, and costumes – were created with the use of pencil, crayons, charcoal, ink, and pastels. The foreword to the publication is written by Magdalena Laskowska, an art historian, keeper of the National Museum in Kraków, and curator of the exhibition Wyspiański. Unknown.
