The album features the most precious and one of the best preserved renaissance edifices in Poland  - the former magnates’ residence in Baranów Sandomierski.

Erected at the end of the 16th century on the foundations of a medieval castle, it has since then been regarded as the embodiment of the sophistication and elegance of the aristocratic Leszczyński family style. The magnificent architecture and the beautiful gardens designed to emulate the Wawel Royal Castle in Cracow have led to the emergence of the castle’s popular nickname - “Little Wawel”, and can be admired here on the archival and contemporary photographs.
