Poland 100 Years is a richly illustrated album prepared on the occasion of the centenary of Poland’s independence celebrated in 2018. The work on this exceptional publication are led by the Programme Council appointed on a social initiative.

This album on Polish museums, compiled under the guidance of Dorota Folga-Januszewska, a distinguished expert on the subject, presents the history, present-day situation, and future prospects of Poland’s museums, focusing on the principal institutions and their collections, their most treasured exhibits, and new ideas in museum development.

What did Polish roads, towns, villages look like a hundred year ago? What faces and clothes did the lens of an old camera catch? What events, customs, and places have been preserved in the yellowish, faded photographs found in the State Archives? Just open this album to see.

On 16 January 2019, we celebrated the centennial of the appointment of the eminent Polish pianist and composer, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, as the prime minister of the independent Republic of Poland.

Another mini-album in the series on the most famous Polish athletes focuses on Irena Kirszenstein-Szewińska, the three-time Olympic champion, seven-time Olympic medallist, five-time European champion and sixteen-time world record holder in the 60, 100, 200, 300, 400 metres, the 440-yard dash and the 4 × 400 metres relay.
